Ice Cream Tulips for you!
A chill in the air lingers
not yet releasing its frosty grip
even though the calendar announces
otherwise
Our eyes have spied
gifts upon the branches
teasing us with hints of colors
soon to be unfurling
For now, we must content ourselves
with Mother Nature’s unpredictability
and await her warm breath
which will coax
the gifts to open and reveal
their treasures
their scent and colors
once more to be admired by so many
a photographer’s orgy
a maiden wears a flower in her hair
a mother arranges flowers in a vase
blooms to lighten our hearts
awakening our feelings
of starting afresh
renewed hope
endless possibilities
Dear Laughter Friends,
It’s been an interesting day. We were expecting some snow this morning but then the sun came out and I was soon off to Sunday Laughter Club.
Laughter Yoga Teacher Ernie Oktay and Laughter Leader Deirdre Razzi joined the club meeting along with some of our regular club members and we enjoyed a fun laughter session, where we tried some new exercises and also danced and added some fun songs to the laughter mix.
Later in the afternoon, we visited Media’s Transition Town Happiness Slam (as part of their Happiness Week Celebration), an open-mike event, where we led an introductory Laughter Yoga session and welcomed the audience to join us at our
upcoming WORLD LAUGHTER DAY CELEBRATION scheduled for Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Rose Tree Park in Media, PA.
As we were leaving the parking lot, big snow flakes were falling and I took this video of Ernie and Deirdre practicing some “Snowflake Laughter”.
